Shirt: Express. Skirt: Rodarte (for Target). Shoes: Guess. Bracelet: Express. Hairband: Target.
I feel like this is quite possibly one of the girliest outfits I have ever put together. I love the way the ruffled pink shirt is enhanced by this gold skirt. I picked this skirt up at Target a few years ago when Rodarte did a line for them. The gold headband, bracelet and toe of the platform shoe accent pink. I feel like this is a very glamorous outfit for a date night with the husband.
Happy Halloween! Tonight we celebrated a very family friendly holiday. I decided to wear a modern flapper costume. I piled on the jewelry, wore by hair loose and finished it off with fishnet tights. Don’t you think these new oxfords are so retro? I just purchased them and am so excited to wear for Autumn. Even though I wore this for Halloween, I think I could wear this look for a holiday party.
Dress: Erin Fetherston. Tights: Vera Wang for Khol’s. Shoes: Levity from DSW. Necklace: Vintage (gift). Headband and necklace (wore as a bracelet): Target. Earrings: Brighton.
Shirt: Express. Skirt: Buffalo Exchange. Purse: DIY - made by me. Watch: Michael Kors. Earrings: Brighton. Shoes: Jessica Simpson.
This outfit was one of those times where I decided to play with texture instead of color. I chose to dress in head to toe silver and vary the shades of silver and textures. Up top I used a shiny halter, earrings and watch. Below I finished with a darker grey tulle and suede platform shoes. To finish it off, I added a patterned and colorful clutch. I spent the night with my husband at the casino and VIP lounge. We had the most amazing time and I even got him to wear a suit!
Jacket: Kenneth Cole. Dress: H&M. Boots: Madden Girl. Scarf: Random Boutique at a Casino.
I took this dress I wore to work and shifted it for travel and dinner that night. By adding a scarf, coat and boots I easily faced declining temperatures. Since the dress is stretchy, it was pretty comfortable for a two hour car ride out of town with my husband for the weekend.
